I love the use of duotone and the binding. I defiantly want to use this binding on a future project. He uses great photographs and a good grid, which at first seems random but you can tell from looking at all the photographs of the spreads that there is a clear grid for type and images.

Beautiful photography nearly always makes great editorial design. I'm a big fan of Ryan McGinley and his work is amazing. I'd love to create a editorial based on photography, bu I would like it to be a part of the concept.
